The 'seasonal urge' is strong in just about anyone who creates - with words, pictures, sound, food.... It is difficult to ignore the changing of seasons and all that implies, especially as we humans are such slaves to time.

 The Fall is always a busy time for Kate; one fun freelance assignment was a recent fashion shoot at a mellow old Italian villa among the grapes just as they were being harvested. Great fun and a real stretch for Kate, working with several models simultaneously.

The other news is mostly of an upcoming nature..a couple of Kate's new figurative pictures shown here will be part of the 'Pecati di Gola' festival in November. And for the moment Kate's larger abstract works are back from the sea and are now hanging in a new show, and very happily
