This winter to spring: a busy time making and finishing works and hanging exhibitions, as well as publishing on various online channels.
Of particular note: a solo exhibition 'The Storyteller' of smaller figurative works at the lovely Bertaina Osteria here in Northern Italy. It's warm red walls are the perfect foil for both the very cold weather and the pictures themselves. Several of these works are now sold; more information about the show can be found here. The remaining works and some new ones will be re-hung for a continuation of this show in late Spring.
The bijoux dimensions of the Bertaina mean that larger works need different homes. One, 'Spin' (90cm x 90cm) is currently on loan to La Contrada Nascosta, a new restaurant that requested this piece as part of their own recent inauguration.
Kate was also delighted to accept the request of a new restaurant inside a beautiful castle to license a detail from the large work 'Strata' for their gift certificates, as well as to display this piece in one of their private dining rooms. Details about this historic locale to come.
In the realm of the online world, in recent months Kate has been featured on various social photography sites, including by Grryo, a beautifully curated and engaging platform for photographers who tell a story.
