London-based gallery After Nyne Contemporary will present Kate's new body of work "Serie di Finestre" in a solo showcase at the 21st annual AAF Battersea Park, 12-15 March 2020, only.
This series is directly influenced by Kate's former home, Italy, currently in the throes of a difficult health crisis which is soon to be part of our lives also. 'Finestre' means windows in the Italian language. There are metaphorical as well as structural elements underpinning the 'why' in these paintings.
The works may be viewed and purchased online after the show at After Nyne Contemporary's website.
Kate will not be participating in any further shows this Spring into Summer, and will not be in her studio until further notice. "From you I have been been absent in the Spring'. - Sonnet 98, WS.
