Courses in Abstract Painting: March & July in Devon, England at Coombe Farm Studios

Kate's first three day intuitive abstract painting residential course at Coombe Farm Studios in Devon this March was enriching and exciting and Kate is looking forward to her longer five day residential course there in early July.

Many thanks to Coombe Farm Studios director Lara Lloyd who initially approached Kate about presenting a course and making it happen so effortlessly. The beautiful location, fresh delicious meals from their very talented chef, simple and restful accommodations in sensitively restored atmospheric stone barns, as well as the camaraderie that grows during the course all combine to create a very special and immersive experience.

The courses Kate is presenting at Coombe Farm Studios are structured, with live demos, participants' making studies and then moving onto larger more complex paintings.

Artists For Ukraine

Finally, thank you to those who have supported recent arts initiatives in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. With your help, Kate and thousands of artists and galleries around the globe are adding to the humanitarian aid so desperately needed via sending artworks to collectors who make contributions to humanitarian organisations working in Ukraine. If you are interested in  supporting these initiatives, a good place to look is on Instagram using the hashtag #ukrainesupportpledge by Matthew Burrows' amazing @artistsupportpledge platform supporting artists throughout the pandemic - and now also Ukraine.
